Whimsy Games is seeking a top-notch Project Manager to extend our team and to help create exciting projects across Mobile Games, WebGL, PC, and NES platforms. If you have a passion for gamedev, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Duties:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: from role intake and sourcing to offer and candidate start,
  • Actively source candidates via LinkedIn, professional communities, job platforms, referrals, and direct search,
  • Schedule and conduct recruitment and initial technical interviews,
  • Evaluate candidates’ experience, potential, cultural fit, and alignment with project requirements,
  • Proven success in hiring technical roles (e.g., Backend/Frontend Developers, QA..),
  • Strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to hiring,
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ATS records and recruitment pipelines,
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and team leads to clarify expectations, priorities, and timelines,
  • Support onboarding plans and first-day arrangements for new hires,
  • Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for current and future needs,
  • Quickly learn new GameDev roles, technologies, and production workflows as projects evolve.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment (Gamedev experience is required),
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment,
  • Strong skills in Boolean/X-Ray search and sourcing techniques,
  • Understanding of direct search / headhunting approaches,
  • Upper-Intermediate English (B2 or higher), both written and spoken,
  • Strong analytical skills in CV review and candidate assessment,
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills,
  • Ability to work with multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment,
  • Team-oriented mindset and proactive approach.

    Nice to Have
      • Experience hiring candidates across the US, Europe, and Asia,
      • Basic understanding of GameDev pipelines (2D / 3D / production workflows),
      • Genuine interest in games or creative industries.
