We’re looking for a skilled Game Business Analyst to help drive the success of our casual project, blending match-3, platformer, and city builder mechanics. If you love analyzing data and providing actionable insights to shape business strategies and game design, this role is for you!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Analysis & Querying: Use SQL to extract key game and business data, focusing on metrics that drive player engagement and monetization.
• Player Behaviour & Business Insights: Analyse player actions and economic trends to influence design, strategy, and monetization improvements.
• Reports & Visualisation: Develop clear, concise reports and dashboards to communicate insights and business trends to key stakeholders.
• Game Economy & Revenue Analysis: Support in-game economy balancing and assess player spending habits to ensure fair yet profitable gameplay.
• Hypothesis Testing: Propose new queries and insights to enhance player retention, revenue, and overall game performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and business teams to provide data-driven recommendations for feature development and business growth.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in SQL, data analysis, and business insights in the gaming industry.
• Strong expertise in using data reporting and visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven ability to analyze player behavior and business performance to support game and business strategy.
• Excellent communication English skills for presenting insights to both technical and business teams.
• Experience in GameDev or similar industries.

WILL BE A PLUS

• Familiarity with in-game economies, virtual currencies, and reward systems.
