Motion Designer (Mobile Games Ads / UA Creatives, Middle+/ Senior)
WhaleApp is an international mobile game publisher and developer, bringing together over 60 million players worldwide. The company’s portfolio includes more than 20 games across various genres — from RPGs to casual puzzle games. Among the most popular titles are BlitZ: Rise of Heroes, Hidden Hotel, Family Zoo, and Resort Hotel. WhaleApp has been operating on the market since 2017.
We are currently looking for a creative and results-driven Motion Designer to join our marketing team and help create engaging video creatives that capture attention and drive installs.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-performing motion graphics and video ads for social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Produce and edit gameplay trailers and ad creatives using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other tools
- Work with existing in-app assets and transform them into engaging video content, including basic 3D scenes and animations
- Animate UI elements, characters, and environments to enhance storytelling, clarity, and conversion
- Generate and integrate AI-driven visuals into video production workflows
- Rapidly iterate on creatives: test hooks, pacing, narratives, and visual approaches based on performance data
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop concepts and scale winning creatives
- Stay up to date with mobile gaming trends, social media formats, and performance marketing best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, and video editing (preferably in gaming)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Understanding of performance marketing creatives (hooks, retention, CTR, thumb-stopping visuals)
- Ability to work with existing assets and adapt them into high-converting ad formats
- Solid understanding of animation principles, pacing, and short-form storytelling
- Experience or strong interest in AI tools for content creation
- Portfolio showcasing social media ads, trailers, or performance-driven video creatives
Would Be An Advantage:
- Experience with 3D tools (Blender, Cinema 4D) and converting 2D assets into simple 3D animations
- Experience in mobile gaming or user acquisition creative production
- Familiarity with A/B testing and creative iteration processes
- Understanding of TikTok / UGC-style content and trends
- Passion for gaming and strong visual storytelling skills
