YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
— A wide range of tasks related to the creation of 3D game models of equipment, environment, and game characters using Maya and Zbrush;
— Full cycle: high-poly/low-poly development/unwrapping/baking/texturing/model setup for implementation in Unity — you will be a jack of all trades;
— Work with internal tools;
— Collaboration with the art director, mechanics designers, and other members of the art team;
— Work in different modeling and texturing styles — polygon art, cartoon, stylized, stylized realism — your imagination is the limit;
WE CAN MATCH IF YOU HAVE:
— Experience in game development for at least three years;
— Ability to follow and correctly interpret/refine concept ideas;
— Hi-poly modeling and sculpting skills;
— Low-poly modeling, UVW mapping, normal baking skills;
— Confident knowledge of 3D packages Zbrush, Maya\3dsMax;
— Confident knowledge of texturing packages Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop;
— Skills in creating stylized textures diffuse only, as well as PBR materials;
— Understanding of color theory, lighting, and composition;
— Skills in game model topology for animation and given constraints;
— Mandatory portfolio with works in the above-mentioned styles.
Will be a plus:
— Skills in creating and refining handpainted textures by hand in 3D Coat and Adobe Photoshop programs;
— Knowledge of the basics and understanding of the features and specifics of Unity 3D;
— Ability to create textures that are tiled using Substance Designer and Adobe Photoshop programs;
