Senior/Lead IT System Administrator (вакансія неактивна)

The Lead IT System Administrator at Stepico plays a key hands-on role in maintaining and improving the company’s internal IT and InfoSec operations. Working closely with the Head of IT on strategic initiatives, and supported by a team of 4 IT engineers, the Lead is responsible for ensuring reliable infrastructure, effective user support, asset lifecycle management, and day-to-day security operations. The role also involves assisting in compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), coordinating with vendors, and supporting internal process improvements. Collaboration with the Project Manager, as well as teams across Art, Development, HR, and Finance, is essential to ensure that IT services align with company-wide operational needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in IT roles, 2+ years in IT leadership or team management, understanding the role of metrics, KPIs and OKRs.
  • Experience supporting IT in software development or creative/technical environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or equivalent security standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking, hardware lifecycle, MDM, SSO/Authentication, and directory services.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining IT policies based on the team and users’ experience, setting up a lifecycle for them.
  • Familiar with delegating tasks, managing helpdesk platforms, and performance tracking, ability to collaborate with the Project Manager.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Operations & Support

  • Ensure the stable operation of core internal IT systems, working alongside a team of four engineers, team manager and Head of department (or/and CTO).
  • Manage day-to-day endpoint configuration, network stability, VPN, file shares, printers, and cloud resources.
  • Oversee internal helpdesk queue, maintain response times, and monitor user satisfaction.
  • Maintain and regularly update IT asset inventory (~2,000 items) across procurement, maintenance, replacement, and disposal.

2. Vendor and SaaS Management

  • Identify and inventory 3rd-party services acquired without IT supervision (e.g., by Art or Marketing departments).
  • Support service migration to IT-controlled accounts and assist with account ownership consolidation.
  • Help assess vendor risks, licensing constraints, and SaaS security hygiene in collaboration with Head of IT.

3. Process and Policy Development

  • Maintain and apply documented IT policies and procedures in collaboration of Head of IT, IT Team, Project Manager.
  • Ensure that IT process documentation is accessible and clear for all departments.
  • Assist with implementation of business process automation and maintain internal IT SLAs.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Provide technical support and coordination for IAM systems, VPN access, and dev toolchains.
  • Cooperate with HR, Finance, and Legal departments to streamline secure data handling.
  • In collaboration with Head of IT, participate in discussions with C-level, BPA, and marketing teams to support IT’s role in client acquisition or external audits.

5. FinOps (Financial Operations for IT & Infrastructure)

  • Monitor IT-related expenditures and report key figures to Finance.
  • Contribute to IT budget forecasting and cost breakdowns.
  • In collaboration with Head of IT and FinOps partners, support optimization of infrastructure and SaaS spend through data gathering and implementation of cost-saving measures.
