Our Engagement suite is a set of tools that allow us to take the gaming experience to a higher level, giving ways for casino operators to further promote our games and providing players a more varied experience while playing our games.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Leading and mentoring the team (developers and qa) that builds our engagement tools
• Own all technical aspects of the engagement suite, making sure that it is aligned with our business goals and act as a point of contact for architecture and cross-functional initiatives
• Communicating and delivering the technical vision of our projects to the business at a high level and the team at an operational level
• Understanding the broader context of the team, build business domain knowledge on how the suite is used on production and help set the technical roadmap to ensure constant improvements in scalability, efficiency, security, observability and cost effectiveness
• Scoping complex tasks and projects, and break them down into smaller tangible tasks that can be easily taken up by others on the team
• Ensuring the quality of the team’s deliveries, making sure all changes are duly covered by comprehensive testing
• Partner with Product and Project managers to help with decisions around prioritization, execution, work division, planning, goal setting, tech-debt management, etc.
• Working with developers to grow their technical, interpersonal and leadership skills and to ensure they have the right challenges and necessary context to use them
• Help make the team stronger by leveraging (or introducing) frameworks and practices around project management, technical decision making, communication practices, etc.
• Responsible for recruitment, retention and effectiveness of the team
• Leading incident management efforts around engagement tools, from investigation to resolution
• Actively contribute to the codebase

What Makes You A Strong Candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams in a high paced environment
• 7+ years of experience in the development of high volume, high availability systems user facing systems, with a solid mixture of backend and frontend skills
• Knowledge of cloud computing and experience working with GCP, AWS or Azure
• Experience with both Relational DBs (MySQL is a plus) and NoSQL DBs
• Working knowledge of Java, Typescript, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, REST API, CI/CD ( Gitlab CI / Jenkins)
• A proper understanding of the skills required in working in a remote environment, leading and communicating with people spread across multiple countries
• Experience in the iGaming industry is highly desirable
• Upper-Intermediate English
