We are looking for a People Operations Lead who will be responsible for leading and optimizing key people operations processes, including contracting, onboarding, and offboarding across multiple locations. The role combines operational leadership and hands-on involvement in complex contracting cases, while ensuring compliance and process efficiency. The position also oversees the People Operations team and manages the technical configuration and continuous improvement of hiring and termination workflows within the HRM system.
Superpowers you have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or a related HR function.
- Proven experience in leading or coordinating a team, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Hands-on experience with contracting, on- and offboarding processes and related HR operational workflows.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and business teams.
- Strong organizational and process management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex cases.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work with HR operational data and process metrics.
- Proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Owning and continuously enhancing critical people-related processes, including contracting, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring operational excellence and seamless people experience.
- Leading and developing the People Operations team (initially 2, later expanding to 5 team members)
- Driving cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders (IT, Admin, Legal, Finance etc.) to maintain high standards and consistency across all on/offboarding workflows.
- Leading the full contracting cycle across multiple jurisdictions, while personally preparing contracts in high-complexity or non-standard cases, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, compliance, document collection and completion.
- Managing cooperation with EOR vendors, overseeing Contractor of Record engagements, and supporting contract preparation and lifecycle administration via external providers.
- Owning, maintaining, and continuously improving the technical configuration of hiring and termination workflows within the HRM system, ensuring process automation and data accuracy.
- Leveraging and interpreting on/offboarding-related analytics, managing reports, ensuring data accuracy and leveraging insights to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
