The next great challenge is coming: We are looking for a Senior or quite experienced C++ GameEngine Engineer to join our team and work on exciting game development projects. If you’repassionate about creating innovative solutions, working with custom engines, and diving into optimization, strategy game gameplay mechanics, engines improvements, integrations of third-party SDKs and UI development, we’d love to hear from you!

Superpowers you have:

• 5+ years of professional experience with C++.

• Prior experience in game development.

• Prior experience with memory and CPU optimization and a general understanding of optimization techniques for game engines and UI performance.

• Experience with scripting languages like Lua or similar.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Good command of English (both spoken and written).

You’re a rockstar if you have:

• Prior experience in strategy game development.

• Some prior experience with graphics programming.

• Some prior experience with multiplayer programming

• Background in working with custom game engines.

Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

• Work intensively on CPU and memory optimization tasks, improving the functionality of various game subsystems and game engine tools.

• Extensively work with the low-level functionality of the console platforms.

• Work closely with the team to integrate new features.

• Use scripting languages (e.g., Lua) to extend the user interface capabilities, etc..
• Ensure clean, efficient, and scalable code.
