— Strong English language skills
— Experience developing server applications with Java and Java Spring
— Experience working with a wide range of database technologies
— Understanding of service-based, or microservice-based architecture
— Understanding of developing, and deploying high availability, heavy workload, enterprise server applications
— Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment
— Experience with employing unit testing, automated testing, continuous integration
— Experience working with gaming platforms, or working in the real-money gambling industry

— Familiarity with agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe),
and knowledge of their various advantages and pitfalls
— Some experience as a Tech Lead, leading projects or team management
would be a bonus

— Delivering software in an industry where precision is critical
— Delivering software to solve complex business problems
— Expert knowledge of Java
— Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
— AWS or another Cloud platform
— Docker, Kubernetes and a DevOps mindset when considering architecture
— Ability to write code interacting effectively with large databases
— Database systems knowledge ideally SQL-based PostgreSQL, or similar
— Large code bases and version control systems
— All types of software testing and able to define testing strategies

Push Gaming is a mobile games studio based in London, with offices in Lviv, Malta, Newquay. Due to some new and exciting projects, we need a Java Software Engineer to join our team in Lviv office. This is an opportunity to join the company and become a key contributor to Push Gaming’s success. You’ll also have the chance to work with and learn from a great team, who have experience working on some of the most successful titles in our industry.
