About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled IT Engineering Team Lead to manage and guide a team of engineers in delivering technical solutions that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in system administration, networking, and automation, combined with leadership experience and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple IT projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Work closely with external vendors.
- Oversee infrastructure automation.
- Support Active Directory, Office365, and enterprise storage solutions
- Maintain and improve Kubernetes infrastructure and automation frameworks (Crossplane, Spectrocloud, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on technical and business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Leadership: At least 2 years of experience in a management or Team Lead role.
- Project Management: Proven track record in IT project management, handling diverse projects of varying complexities.
- Vendor Management: Experience working with external vendors and procurement processes.
- Technical Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
- Strong networking knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, CloudStack).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Language: Intermediate or higher English proficiency (oral and written).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, CloudStack, OpenStack).
- Knowledge of Ctera, VDI, and load-balancing solutions.
- Understanding of API design and best practices.
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of Crossplane, Spectrocloud for infrastructure management.
