As a Java Tech Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to excel in a dynamic and exciting environment. You’ll work with a cutting-edge technology stack within a system that consists of hundreds of microservices, handling high-traffic loads. You will lead a dedicated RnD team with two BE software engineers, owning several key domains and making a significant impact on the product and the whole studio RnD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop: Create robust, scalable, and maintainable services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and match Playtika’s standards.
• Domain Ownership: Take responsibility for multiple domains, owning and supporting them throughout their lifecycle.
• Incident Management: Manage production incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on game operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive software design documents for new features and services, while also working with studio software architects to discuss and refine these designs.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the development process and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
• Lead and Mentor: Guide and support your team members, conducting regular one-on-one meetings to ensure they are progressing toward their yearly goals.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in the Java programming language and related frameworks
• Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Experience with high-level design (HLD) and software design document (SDD) creation
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Good communication and social skills
