Middle .NET developer (Game Development) (вакансія неактивна)

We’re looking for a talented Middle .NET Developer to join our backend team at Platipus.

If you enjoy building robust, scalable systems and want to take part in creating high-quality casino games played by users worldwide — we’d be happy to have you on board!

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core or newer);
  • Strong background in backend/server-side development;
  • Solid skills in unit and integration testing;
  • Hands-on experience with caching systems, especially Redis;
  • Proficiency with relational databases: MS SQL or PostgreSQL;
  • Practical experience with Docker;
  • Confident use of Git and GitHub;
  • Good command of English (both spoken and written);
  • Higher education in a technical field (e.g. Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).

As plus:

  • Experience with Kafka or other message brokers;
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
  • Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new backend features using .NET Core;
  • Maintain and optimize existing systems and services;
  • Work with relational databases (MS SQL/PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis);
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality;
  • Use Docker for application containerization;
  • Collaborate with the team following Agile/Scrum processes;
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
