We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing IT projects in outsourcing industry, ideally in game development, with a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will be responsible for guiding projects through all stages of their lifecycle, from initiation to closing, while effectively managing risks and changes.

Main responsibilities:

You will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of complex projects for our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of project management activities, ensuring that we consistently exceed client expectations and deliver top-tier gaming experiences.

• Own the outcome — No matter the complexity or challenges, ensuring that our projects are completed successfully;
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing communications, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle;
• Meeting the daily needs of coordinating your team’s work are the basics. Delivering new features and services to clients and seeing complex features through the complete integration cycles with other teams are the fun part;
• Own the schedule — Partner with disciplined leads to determine the time and people necessary to see projects through to completion;
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Consider dependencies. Ensure all project activities align with the company’s and client’s objectives and are executed efficiently within the stipulated time frames;
• Communicate — Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders in order to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases. Communicate frequently with the team and project leads on project status, risks, and opportunities;
• Proactively identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining project integrity;
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports to stakeholders, providing clear insights into project status, risks, and future plans;
• Leverage tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace and Slack to organise work and maintain projects information, roadmaps and progress;
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing project processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing changes to improve efficiency and quality;
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management and video game development. Apply this knowledge to enhance your performance and contribute to the company’s growth.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years in a project management role, demonstrating your ability to lead cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex, large-scale projects within fast-paced environments;
• Proven experience in working with software development teams, managing projects on both fixed-price and time-and-materials (T&M) models, ensuring successful outcomes;
• In-depth understanding and practical application of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt and integrate these frameworks as needed to suit project requirements;
• Competence in coordinating efforts and fostering collaboration among teams operating across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless communication and project progress;
• Demonstrated capability to effectively identify, assess, and manage project risks and changes, maintaining project stability and achieving desired outcomes;
• Experience in overseeing large projects or managing a small program/portfolio of projects, with a track record of delivering successful results;
• Superior interpersonal, communication, and reporting abilities, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle;
• Advanced proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management, demonstrating a disciplined and professional approach to tracking and documenting project progress;
• Experience working within a matrix-based organizational structure, with the ability to navigate and resolve conflicts or mismatches efficiently;
• A strong enthusiasm and commitment to continuous improvement, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance processes and outcomes;
• High-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear and effective communication within our globally distributed clients;
• Experience in the gaming industry is a big advantage.
