Job Description

We are looking for a creative and analytical Game Designer to join our Features Team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and balancing new gameplay mechanics that drive player engagement and long-term retention.

Responsibilities

• Generating ideas, conducting market research and competitor analysis
• Designing in-game economy, features, and mechanics
• Creating GDD: from concept and mockups to final documentation
• Balancing (mathematical models, Excel/Google Sheets)
• Supporting graphics, animation, and sound creation (approve, consult, advise)
• Playtesting, analyzing metrics, and improving the product
• Launch → Polishing → Re-launch

Requirements

• Experience in the position of a Game Designer from 3 years
• Experience in the implementation and successful launch of core features
• Understanding of product metrics and the development cycle
• Strong analytical thinking and data-driven approach
• Experience in balancing the in-game economy
• Confident user of Excel / Google Sheets
• Basic UI/UX knowledge and experience with mockup tools (Figma, Balsamiq)
• Knowledge of English Intermediate and higher

Nice to have

• Background in statistics, economics, or mathematics
• Experience with probability theory and A/B testing
• Knowledge of Tableau, Firebase
• Prototyping experience (InVision, Axure, Unity 3D)
• Portfolio of active games
• Mentoring and leadership experience in the game design community
