Job Description

Murka is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst for the team that develops social casino games.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large sets of marketing data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct an extensive analysis, covering all available data from ad impressions to users’ in-game behavior.
  • Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data to adjust strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Create comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, game development, and business intelligence to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Assist in developing predictive models to forecast user behavior, identify potential risks, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and gaming to continually improve the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the gaming or mobile app industry.
  • Familiarity with mobile gaming metrics and industry-specific KPIs.
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or R will be a plus
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for gaming and a deep interest in understanding player behavior and preferences.
