Job Responsibility Description:
Reporting to the Lead 3D Character Artist, our Senior 3D Chracter Artist will have the following main responsibilities:
- Manage 3d characters modeling pipelines, high and low poly;
- Responsible for the final technical quality of the 3d characters;
- Creation of the technical requirement documentation for 3d characters.
Skill requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in senior 3d character position for casual mobile games or similar;
- At least 1 finished game in portfolio;
- Familiarity with cartoon Pixar art style and realistic style;
- Strong professional portfolio with high-quality examples 3D characters in cartoon style;
- Familiarity with standard 3D character production pipelines for the game industry;
- Master at least one of these tools: 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush;
- Strong knowledge in texturing using Photoshop and/or Substance Paint;
- Deep understanding of material shaders and the best rendering engines like Marmoset, Arnold, or V-Ray;
- Good communication skills;
- Spoken and written English (Intermediate or higher).
Bonus points:
- Experience in agile-based/SCRUM development;
- Experience in character animation;
- 2d illustrator or quick sketches skills;
- Passion for SLG games and experience in creating them.
