Ixilix is a technology-driven company that builds high-quality solutions and long-term partnerships. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a MQA Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Description of the Technical Specifications based on customer requirements.
• Understand project requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory tests.
• Document and track defects.
• Creating a task description with requirements, goals and end result.
• Report test results and provide insights to the development team.
• Ensure that the final product meets the requirements specified in the task.
• Participate in improving the overall quality control process.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a Manual QA Engineer position.
• Experience working with distributed systems and understanding the principles of microservices architecture. Ability to test interactions between services, including API testing and service contract validation.
• Proficiency in testing RESTful, SOAP and GraphQL APIs, and experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia, etc.). Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and understanding testing at different stages of development in a microservices context. Ability to work with test automation tools within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Ability to perform integration tests to verify interactions between microservices. Experience in end-to-end testing, including testing complex workflows involving multiple services.
• Experience with load testing and performance testing in the context of microservices.
• Understanding and Analyzing Logs.
• Experience in the Gambling domain will be a plus.

Work conditions:

• Remote work from EU
• Flexible 8-hour workday, typically between 9:00 — 18:00 CET
• Five working days, Monday to Friday
• Public holidays observed according to Ukrainian legislation
• Business trips to Bratislava every 3-6 months (company provides compensation of expenses)
