Gunzilla Games is looking for an extremely motivated, Rust developer to develop backend solutions for our items platform which will be connected to OTG.
**Responsibilities**
— Liaise with front-end engineers and clients to promote great software design and quality
— Develop high throughput and high availability API services
— Design and implementation of data storage solutions
— Developed multithreaded async code
— Point out issues with the existing architecture and code, and clean it up
— Improve code quality
— Drive innovation by coming up with new ideas for our products and processes
**Technical/experience requirements**
— 5+ years of professional software engineering experience;
— 3+ years of solid experience in Rust;
— Excellent proficiency with Docker, Microservice architecture
— Knowledge of Kubernetes;
— Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
— Experience with message queues (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
— Strong understanding of the development cycle;
— Experience with distributed systems and networking;
— Familiarity with low-level system programming;
— Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills;
— Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
— Able to make sound technical decisions and provide technical guidance;
— Initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
— Upper-Intermediate level English.
