Responsibilities:
Integration, creation, and modification of content (shaders, visual effects, post-processing).
Development of additional tools for working with content.
Increasing productivity.
Solving content issues.
Maintaining technical documentation for the project.
Required skills:
Experience as a Lead technical artist (UE or custom engine) +3 years.
Experience with Houdini (SOPs RBD Vellum, Heightfield, export fbx animations with skeletons, COP texture layers composing, export heightmaps)
Maya experience: export/import pipeline, modeling, UV, animation, mechanical rigging, IK, constraints, parametrical animation, problem-solving
Ability to disassemble and implement the pipeline of custom engine specifications
Artistic supervision in different aspects is a must! (Assets, Levels, animations are harmonious and naturally based)
Understanding of the rendering pipeline, PBR and shaders.
Knowledge of post-processing, particle systems, lighting, creation and configuration of materials, and content optimization.
Experience with content creation software (DCC).
Portfolio is a must!
A strong candidate will have:
Experience with a version control system.
Experience with automation and script writing.
Experience with Houdini.
Experience with Maya.
Practice of working with other engines.
Knowledge of English not lower than pre-intermediate.
