Technical Game Designer (weapon specialist) (вакансія неактивна)

The Fractured Byte team is looking for a Game Designer for a new project that is currently in pre-production. The description of the project is sure to interest you: own production, franchise game, online PvP shooter and honest AA. Send us your CV and we will tell you the details!

Responsibilities:
— Ownership of the whole ‘weapon system’;
— Preparing documentation with proper references for new weapons;
— Communication with the team;
— Combining needed parts to create weapon in editor (model, anims, VFX, SFX, etc);
— Adjusting weapon stats and overall performance to fit into the game balance;
— Maintaining weapon modification system;
— Participation in communication with product owners (both inside and outside the company);
— Assembly of game interface prototypes in UMG and Blueprints;

Requirements:
— At least one finished project (from concept to release) OR at least 1 year on LiveOps in a role of Weapon or Balance Designer;
— Understanding mechanism and tools of UE4 and BP knowledge;
— English at Intermediate+ level;
— Understanding how to decompose and describe tasks;
— Understanding the game cycles and game economy;
— Understanding the production pipeline and development structure of PC/Console games;

Will be a plus:
— Prototype or game portfolio with UE4/UE5;
— Any Console / PC game releases in any role;
— Good knowledge of Blueprints;
— Skill to maintain GDD;
— Strong spoken English;
— Remote team experience;
— Experience in related GameDev roles (art, programming, LD, management etc.);
— Ability to correctly generate ideas in the face of project constraints to improve product quality;
— Ability to quickly switch between the teamplayer and full-autonomy production styles;
— Passionate gamer (ideally on PC / Consoles);
— Wide experience with high-competitive FPS-games;
— Experience with P4, Jira.
