We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our remote team part-time. As a Front-End Developer at ChickenFish Games, you will be responsible for building responsive and interactive web applications using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to bring high-quality user experiences to life. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration of front-end elements with our Web3 infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive web applications using React and TypeScript based on communicated design specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to deliver functional, high-quality applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability and performance.
- Write clean, efficient and reusable code that adheres to industry standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing code, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of React.js and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS).
- Experience working with REST APIs and modern web standards.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Strong understanding of modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to create unit tests and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- A knack for writing clean, readable and maintainable code.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies and blockchain integration.
- Experience working in a fully remote team environment.
