We are looking for a Junior Financial Specialist who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and develop their skills as part of a supportive team. The ideal candidate has good Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and is motivated to build a career in finance and accounting.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Junior Financial Specialist or in a similar role, such as Finance Assistant, Finance Coordinator, Financial Operations Assistant, or Assistant Finance Officer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Intermediate level proficiency in English.
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, organizational skills, and flexibility.
- Desire to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Entering and maintaining financial data in our internal administrative system, preparing payment requests, and generating payment schedules and payment registers.
- Updating P&L reports, analyzing financial data, preparing acceptance reports (acts of completed work) and travel sheets.
- Posting bank statements, recording accounting entries, and processing financial transactions in the accounting software Xero.
- Working with tables in Excel and Google Sheets, including data entry, reconciliation, and creating PivotTables.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial documents, registers, breakdowns, and forecasts.
