Barbara Bang is looking for a Localization Manager/Technical Writer/Content Localization Manager/Localization Project Manager, who will be responsible for implementing and executing the localization strategy of our amazing company.
Requirements:
— 3 + years of experience as a Technical Writer/ Localization Manager/Content Localization Manager/Localization Project Manager.
— Excellent written and spoken English (other languages are a plus).
— Previous experience in working with documents or text-heavy websites (advantage).
— Knowledge of online gaming (advantage).
— Experienced in writing clear, concise, and accurate instructions, rules for different content for the web.
— Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
— Cross-functional collaboration experience.
— High level of self-organization, attentiveness, accuracy, perseverance, proactivity, and ability to multitask.
— Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
— Desire to work in online gaming and grow professionally.
Would be nice to have:
— Experience in the iGaming industry.
— Understanding of QA and development lifecycle.
— Working with translation agencies.
— Experience with web content delivery.
— Experience as an editor.
— Proficiency in several foreign languages.

Responsibilities:
— Collect, understand and document information that will be communicated to our clients or internally.
— Design and format documents in a way that corresponds to the requirements set by our company.
— Localize projects into supported languages.
— Work closely with game developers, and publishing team to understand the project’s current needs, editing a wide variety of games-related material, such as in-game text, templates, packaging, press releases, and all other marketing materials to ensure high localization quality.
— Communicate with the Marketing team and help to create texts for localization to the languages required.
— Translate in-game texts, and UI for apps (English ⇒ Ukrainian).
— Review the received translations for compliance with the requirements.
— Be a key contact person between the Development/QA department, Game Producer and the 3rd party translation companies.
— Maintain and improve the localization process.
