Narrative Designer/Writer (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Writer to join our team. You will work closely with existing writing staff to develop fiction, scenarios, and dialog for our games.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years’ experience working in a relevant work environment and hold a relevant degree.
• Mastery of English as a primary language is a must.
• Shipped AAA games and strong portfolio are a must.
• Familiarity/experience with localization tools such as LocDirect.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Able to manage and meet deadlines while maintaining creative iteration principles.
• Deep familiarization with Metro games, books, and fan lore.
• Familiarization with full game development cycle and VO development/recording processes.
• Team player who constantly seeks feedback from all sources available.
• Able to develop ideas, but also run with creative direction developed by others.
• Able to assist with internal translation efforts as needed.
• Experience of working with spreadsheet editors (Excel/Google sheets etc)
• Experience of creating articles in wiki style documents (Wiki’s/Confluence etc)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with existing fiction staff and Designers to develop overall fiction and scenarios.
• Create and edit dialog across the game.
• Create and edit other game text for background fiction, collectibles, menus, etc.
• Maintain scripts across various formats during development.

PREFERENCES

• Deep familiarity with, or native to, Eastern European culture.
• Passion for games.
